Get rich quick: Your guide to making money from your art/photography!

Are you a creative?  Do you want to share your artwork or your photography with the world? Do you want to get your name out there to kickstart your own freelance career? Maybe you just fancy making a bit of extra money?

Well here at Fulprint, we are wise old beans, and we have the answers!

With all the recent modern technologies, you may have heard people declare that ‘print is dead’. On the contrary, we recognise that it is very much alive! You could make yourself some good money with some prints of your work and a good business brain! Check out our ideas below, take them on board, then all you need to do is find your own market!

Greetings Cards:

We can print your designs/photos onto greetings cards. 100 cards will cost you £60*; that’s only 60p each! If you sell those on for £2 each, you’ll be making a £1.40 profit for every card that you sell. And if you sell all of them for £3 each, you’re looking at £300 topping up your bank account! You get back 5 times what you put in – a massive return on investment!

Calendars:

I know, it’s only June, but believe it or not some people have already bought their 2016 calendars (my mum for one…)! Calendars are a great gift for Christmas. Better yet YOUR calendars are a great gift for someone else’s Christmas! Why not collect your best 12 drawings or photos and put together a calendar? We print 100 for £250*; it might sound a bit steep, but that’s only £2.50 per A4 wirebound wall calendar. If you sold these on at twice that price, you’re looking at making £500. Better yet, sell all 100 at £10 each and… well, this isn’t a maths lesson, you can figure it out!

Some A3 posters, a few postcards and a small book of your illustrations can all be sold off to make you some extra pennies! (Or maybe even millions if you have something special!) Everyone has to start somewhere, and we have seen many artists and photographers invest in their own talent to reap the monetary rewards.
